Endlich Fruhling’ or ‘Spring at Last’ was written by German author Michael Engler and illustrated by me. It was published in Spring 2023.
Following on from the success of ‘The Mitten’ arsEdition, Germany have commissioned me to work on two more books in the series, featuring the same animal characters.
The Lost Reindeer was written and illustrated by me, and translated into German as ‘Das verlorene Rentier’. It was published October 2023
The Mitten is an old Ukrainian folktale.
‘Der verlorene Handschuh’, the original retold version published by arsEdition, Germany has been published with no text. The narrative artwork alone tells the story, allowing for imagination and discussion between the storyteller and child, encouraging communication and language development. This book has been very successful across Europe with many reprints and co-editions.
It has continued to be re-published and this year will have a new cover with silver foil to match ‘Das verlorene Rentier’
